Maytag Blue Cheese Quiche

Baked until perfectly golden, each slice of our Maytag Blue Cheese Quiche offers a sophisticated taste that will make it a standout on any table!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 8" pie shell
  • 8 oz. Maytag Blue Cheese, crumbled (room temperature)
  • 2 oz. Maytag Edam, shredded
  • 4 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 6 Tbsp milk
  • 2 Tbsp chives, chopped
  • 4 eggs

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Place the pie shell in a pie dish and bake until golden brown and cooked thoroughly (about 10-12 minutes); let cool. Reduce oven to 325°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Maytag Blue Cheese and cream cheese. Add milk and chives. Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg.
  3. Layer shredded Maytag Edam across the bottom of the cooked pie crust. Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake for 30 minutes, or until almost set.
  4. Allow the quiche to cool for 15 minutes prior to serving.
