Creamy Maytag Blue Cheese Pasta with Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fettucine noodles
  • 10 Tbsp butter
  • 1 lb. shrimp, deveined
  • 4 oz. Maytag Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/t tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Grated parmesan, as desired
  • Salt, to taste

Directions

Boil noodles to desired tenderness, drain and set aside. Heat 2 Tbsp of butter in a large skillet and sauté shrimp until cooked through. Season with salt, pepper and garlic; set aside. 

In a medium-sized skillet, melt remaining butter, then add half of the Maytag Blue Cheese Crumbles, heavy cream, and red pepper flakes. Whisk continuously until melted and smooth. Top pasta with Blue Cheese sauce. Stir in shrimp, lemon juice and parsley.  

Serve immediately, topping with desired remaining Maytag Blue Cheese and grated parmesan.
