Sweet, delicate floral flavor and a soft, chewy bite make these Honey Lavender Cookies one of our favorite springtime treats.

Cookie Ingredients
- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup Maytag Honey
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2-3 tsp dried lavender
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Glaze Ingredients
- 2 tsp Maytag Honey
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tsp milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, add melted butter, Maytag Honey, sugar, and dried lavender, and mix until combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla, then mix in salt and baking soda. Gradually add in the flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll onto a floured surface. Using a large flower-shaped cookie cutter, cut out cookies and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden. Allow to cool slightly, then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
- While cookies are cooling, mix powdered sugar, Maytag Honey, and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over cookies and garnish with additional dried lavender.
