Enjoy the sweet-savory balance of Maytag Honey and 1-Year Aged Cheddar in this Cheddar Apple Honey Galette, best served as a brunch centerpiece or a light dessert.

Ingredients
- 1 premade pie crust
- 3/4 cup Maytag 1-Year Aged Cheddar, shredded
- 2-3 thinly sliced Gala apples
- 2 Tbsp Maytag Honey
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out the pie crust onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the shredded Maytag 1-Year Aged Cheddar evenly on the pie crust, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
- In a large bowl, mix the sliced apples, Maytag Honey, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice until apples are coated.
- Layer the apples evenly in the middle of the crust, slightly overlapping each slice; continue to leave the 1-inch border in place.
- Fold the outer edges up and over the filling, pleating the crust as you go. Brust the crust with egg wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is flaky and golden. Remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes before finishing with a drizzle of Maytag Honey.
