A decadent twist on a classic vegetable, our Maytag Blue Cheese Asparagus combines rich, tangy cheese with fresh, tender asparagus for a delectable side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. asparagus
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minces
- 4 oz. Maytag Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 1/2 cup bacon, cooked & crumbled
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Trim asparagus ends and place in a medium-sized baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Top with minced garlic.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Remove from oven.
Sprinkle Maytag Blue Cheese and bacon on top of asparagus. Bake for 5 more minutes, uncovered. Serve immediately while cheese is warm and melty!
