Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt & black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 12 thick-cut slices French or brioche bread
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Maytag Havarti, thinly sliced
Directions
- In a medium mixing bowl, add milk, eggs, and seasonings and whisk until combined.
- Cut a loaf of bread into thick slices. Dunk each piece of bread into the custard mixture, turning to ensure both sides are evenly coated.
- Preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Melt butter, then add a slice of coated bread to the pan. Cook for two minutes, then top with sliced Maytag Havarti. Add another slice of bread on top, then flip and cook until the cheese is melty.
- Transfer the French toast to a plate, garnish with additional parsley, and serve warm.
