Made to share and simply delicious, these cheesy, bite-sized Cheddar Egg Tarts are the perfect addition to your brunch table.
Ingredients
- 1 premade pie crust
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Maytag 1-Year Aged Cheddar
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Roll out pie crust onto a floured surface. Using a circular cookie cutter, cut out individual pieces of dough. Press the dough into a greased tart or mini muffin tin, then bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
While the crust is baking, whisk together eggs and heavy cream in a medium bowl. Add in salt and pepper to taste and mix. Add grated Maytag 1-Year Aged Cheddar to the bowl and gently mix until combined. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then top with fresh thyme and serve warm.
